A Giants Dolls House is a collaborative participatory project initiated by architect Catja de Haas. I collaborated and supported the project and worked with over 60 children from Artescape, Hanover and Yerbury schools based in North London, also inviting other schools across London to take part. Each child made their own house in a shoebox. We had over 150 SHOEBOX houses on the wall of Testbed1.
Connected with ropes, ramps, and ladders to create a gigantic dolls’ house. The project highlighted the importance of a home for all and therefore we ask for a contribution of one pound from each participant for the housing charity Shelter.
